Acorn2Oak

Food Security

Acorn2Oak has established a comprehensive pantry program to tackle hunger and food insecurity within the community. We extend food assistance to a wide range of individuals, including seniors, people with disabilities, those who are underemployed or unemployed, singles, and multi-family units. Our commitment is to provide diverse programs and services that cater to the unique needs of various populations in the community.

On a bi-monthly basis, Acorn2Oak distributes groceries to families facing hardships in both the Peel Region and the Greater Toronto Area. Each year, the pantry serves approximately 3500 individuals, ensuring they receive essential support for their well-being. Our mission is to address the immediate nutritional needs of the community, fostering a sense of security and promoting overall health and wellness.
