Prison & After Care Program

Through our committed staff and volunteers we engage with those who have committed crimes for which they are now incarcerated to provide them with faith-based programming, services, and general support. Our aim is guide them on a path of grace, hope, and faith for  healing, reconciliation, and transformation.  Our faith is that with God all things are possible and it is never too late for a person to be restored with relationship to God and to be reconciled to  family, victims, and community.  In our After Care Program we create a safe and welcoming space where everyone can find the support, information, and the referrals they need to rebuild their lives.

Comprehensive Support Services

Our In Prison Program

This program is a faith based program that can include worship services, group sharing sessions, and Bible studies with an aim to foster a sense of community, support, and inner healing. We encourage inmates to see how learning fits into the bigger picture of of their lives and work and help them to elevate themselves with courses with a career, trade, and job in mind for  financial security. We recognize their commitment and progress with Achievement  Certificates. Special programs are created for them to participate in holidays events at Christmas, Easter,  thanksgiving, and birthdays.

Prison Aftercare Program

This program offers comprehensive support for individuals reintegrating into the community after they finish serving their sentence. Services includes post-release transportation, a focus on relapse prevention, providing resources for basic needs, employment readiness, education, skills training, counseling for anger, financial management, trauma, and healthy living. The program promotes family restoration, encourages faith involvement, and builds community connections through fellowship gatherings and special celebrations, establishing a structured and supportive reintegration process.

Restorative Justice Program

Acorn2Oak Justice Program™ is not only an alternative to incarceration, but is a holistic program that addresses the harm done, takes responsibility, and works to restore and heal both victim and offender. The aim is to transform lives and bring peace to relationships and communities.

Record Suspension Program

Integrating in society and getting employment can be challenging for ex-convicts. We provide assistance for them to apply for a Record Suspension or Pardon so that their criminal record will be kept separate and apart from other records and will not show up on a criminal record check.
