Are You Residing in Mississauga and in Need of Food Support?
If you are living in Mississauga and would like to benefit from our Food Pantry, we are here to support you. Contact our office Tuesday to Thursday to register and receive free food items once per month. At Acorn2Oak (A2O), we believe that no individual or family should have to face hunger alone. Our Food Security Program was established to address food insecurity in our community with dignity, compassion, and practical assistance.About Our Food Security Program
A2O has developed a comprehensive pantry program to tackle hunger and provide consistent nutritional support to individuals and families facing hardship.
We extend food assistance to a wide range of community members, including:
- Seniors
- Individuals living with disabilities
- Underemployed or unemployed individuals
- Single adults
- Multi-family households
Our goal is to provide diverse programs and services that respond to the unique needs of every household we serve.
How the Pantry Works?
- Monthly Grocery Support: Registered clients receive groceries once per month. We also have a “No One Leaves Empty-Handed” policy — when you visit to register, you will receive available grocery items that same day.
- Essential Food Items in a Welcoming Environment: We provide a variety of staple and nutritious grocery items, served with respect, confidentiality, and care.
How to Register
- Registration is completed in person at our office, Tuesday to Thursday. Please call ahead to confirm the documents you need to bring with you for your appointment.
- During your visit, a member of our team will guide you through the registration process and answer any questions you may have. We are here to support you every step of the way.
