2. Spiritual Support
In times of uncertainty, finding solace in faith can be a source of strength. Acorn2Oak engages refugees in a supportive community through church involvement, fostering spiritual well-being, and connections for building supportive relationships.
3. Coaching for Better Skills
Our wraparound programs focus on coaching refugees on our Economic and Employment Pathways for employment, planning, foundational skills training, job-specific skills, English as an additional language training, supported work experiences and on-the job training, and paid internships. From personal wellness to professional growth, we empower individuals to build a foundation for a brighter future.
4. Winter Warming Area
As the temperatures drop, we recognize the importance of providing a safe and warm space. Acorn2Oak creates a winter warming area, offering respite from the cold and aiding the well-being of those seeking refuge during the colder months.
